Cryptocurrency price latest: Bitcoin falls below $40,000

 Bitcoin's price has dropped below $40,000, and the value of other major cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum, has also dropped. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to have an impact on the global cryptocurrency market.

Apart from the confrontation between Moscow and Kyiv, South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol has vowed a crypto-friendly administration.

BITCOIN, ETHER DOWN

The price of bitcoin dropped 1.69 percent to $38,486. Bitcoin appears to be on the verge of remaining volatile. At $2,567, Ethereum was down 0.79 percent.

The top cryptocurrencies, according to market cap, are also in the red.
